J&A RACING NAMES OLD POINT NATIONAL BANK AS TITLE SPONSOR FOR HALLOWEEN FUN RUN
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – July 12, 2011 – Jerry and Amy Frostick, owners of J&A Racing in Virginia Beach, Virginia, are pleased to announce that Old Point National Bank is the new title sponsor for the Monster Mile fun run, the companion event to the Blue Moon Wicked 10K presented by Bon Secours In Motion, which will have its third annual running at the Virginia Beach oceanfront on Saturday, October 29, 2011. The fun and festive event is billed as the largest outdoor Halloween party in Virginia Beach, as nearly 75% of participants don some form of costume for each race. The event has grown more popular each year, with 10,000 participants expected for 2011.

The Blue Moon Wicked 10K presented by Bon Secours In Motion is one of four specially themed and family oriented racing events presented by J&A Racing of Virginia Beach. Other events include the Samuel Adams Surf 'n Santa 10 Miler and Frosty's 5K to be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011; the Virginia is for Lovers 14K and 1.4 miler to be run on Saturday, February 11, 2012; and J&A's flagship event, the Yuengling Shamrock Marathon Weekend, featuring the marathon, the Anthem Half Marathon, the TowneBank 8K, and the Operation Smile Final Mile, which will take place March 16-18, 2012.
