At J&A Racing, we believe running is more than just a sport—it’s a lifestyle fueled by community, fun, and unforgettable experiences. For years, our Ambassador Program has been the heart of that mission. Now, we’re evolving to bring that energy to every single event on our calendar, and we want you to be part of it.

Starting this season, we are selecting a dedicated team of 5 ambassadors for each of our signature races (with 10-15 ambassadors for the iconic Shamrock Marathon Weekend). This means you can apply to represent the race that speaks to you most—whether it’s the beachy vibes of Surf N Santa or the spooky fun of the Wicked 10K.

You can even apply to be an ambassador for more than one race!

Each race has its own season of excitement. Check out the timeline below to see when applications open for your favorite event:

• Crawlin’ Crab: Application Open June 18; Application Closes June 25; Program Runs July 15 – October 4 (APPLICATIONS HAVE CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT)

• Wicked 10K: Application Open July 1; Program Runs August 1 – October 31 (APPLICATIONS HAVE CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT)

• Norfolk Harbor Half: Application Open July 15; Program Runs August 15 – November 22

• Shamrock Marathon Weekend: Application Open August 1; Program Runs September 1 – March 21

• Surf N Santa 5 Miler: Application Open August 15; Program Runs September 15 – December 13

• Virginia Beach 10 Miler: Application Open December 1; Program Runs January 1 – May 8
