We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, outgoing, and loyal supporters of J&A Racing events to help us promote and market our races. PR Crew qualifications and benefits are listed below.
The Personality:
As a PR Crew member, you are the face of J&A Racing in the community! Be yourself! Be positive! Be supportive! Be involved! Run with your heart! At J&A Racing we believe in living, loving, and running, and we want the same from you.
The Perks:
- Free J&A Racing Gear to wear at all community events, races, and whenever you want to show off your J&A Racing pride
- Free Race Entry to our kickoff event for the 2019/2020 season, The Neighborhood Harvest Crawlin’ Crab Half Marathon & 5K
- Ability to earn free race entries to all our events, swag, merchandise, and other items by completing PR Crew tasks (see attached perk chart)
- Monthly group run with J&A Racing staff for PR Crew only
- Spotlight on our PR Crew webpage
- Community Codes to share with people who inspire you in the community
- Access to private Facebook Group
- Access to google doc with all race information
The Commitment:
- Expected to attend PR Crew Summit on August X, 2019
- Expected to work J&A Racing Expos
- Expected to attend one community-based fitness group/pop-up event per month in J&A Racing gear
- Expected to wear J&A Racing gear at all races you participate in
- Expected to provide one blog on a predetermined topic for the J&A Racing blog (ex. Race recap, training run recap, etc)
- Positively promote J&A Racing across social media platforms and with community
The Nitty-Gritty:
- The official season starts on August 1, 2019 and ends on June 1, 2020
- Must live in Coastal Virginia Area
- Must be at least 21 years old
- PR Crew must reapply every year (for a maximum of two years)
- Third year term is possible for those who are selected to serve in a leadership role
- Can not be an ambassador for any other race company
- Can only be an ambassador for two other race-related companies that don’t compete with our brand
- Follow our style guide for race names and branding elements when promoting our events
- We must be the priority partnership
