On December 19th, Sedonia Triepel, a student at First Colonial High School, was involved in a serious car accident in Virginia Beach. She is an intelligent and creative young lady and an active member of the Legal Studies Academy. She runs Cross Country, rows with the Crew team, and vocalizes her passions through Debate and Forensics.
Let’s show Sedonia that the Hampton Roads running community is pulling for her, by coming together for a long run on the Yuengling Shamrock Marathon Weekend course.
There will be pace groups, water stops, a “special” mile honoring Sedonia and a guest appearance from the “Mayor of Running”, Bart Yasso! All levels welcome.
First Colonial High School will be accepting donations for Sedonia’s recovery at Murphy’s Irish Pub throughout the morning. 100% of the proceeds will go to Sedonia for medical expenses.
You can follow along with Sedonia’s recovery by visiting and posting your support through her Caring Bridge website: https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/sedoniatriepel/journal ”
